v0.8 · Open beta · Free forever

Eight players saw the wipe.
Watch all eight at once.

Heimdall is a recorder built for raid teams. It reads your game's log, chops your night into clean pulls, and lets your group review every POV side-by-side on the same timeline — so the “what just happened” conversation actually gets answered.

How it works

No 4-hour video to
scrub through.

Heimdall tails your game's log in the background. When something interesting starts — a pull, a boss, a round, a match — it starts recording. When it ends, it cuts the clip and names it. That's it.

Tails your game log

Works alongside whatever logger your game already has — ACT in FFXIV, the demo stream in CS2. Zero changes to your setup.

02 · TRIGGER

Starts & stops on events

Pull begins, a clip begins. Team wipes, boss dies, round ends, or you leave the instance — clip ends. Customize triggers per fight, map or duty.

Step 2 — trigger lifecycle placeholder
03 · ORGANIZE

One clip per pull

Your night turns into a tidy folder. Named, numbered, tagged with duration and outcome. Ready to review or share.

Features

Most of it is free. Forever.

The recorder, the pull splitter, the clip library — all free for everyone, in every supported game. The one feature we paywall is cloud team POV review, because storing eight people's footage costs real money. Here's the honest split:

Clip library & local replay
Browse, tag, and rewatch your own pulls
Custom triggers
Define what counts as a “pull” per fight, map or duty
Manual clip sharing
Export any clip as a normal video file
Cloud team POV review
Upload clips for your team, watch 8 POVs on one timeline

Synced playback & shared scrubber
Pause for everyone, jump to any moment on any POV
Timeline events from log
Mechanics, deaths, and callouts pinned to the scrubber
Supporter tiers

The app is free. Cloud storage isn't.

Team POV review means hosting hours of HD footage for eight people, per pull, per night. These tiers pay for that — nothing more. The only thing that changes between tiers is how much cloud storage your team gets.
